The elevator just stopped. What do we do?
If nobody is stuck inside, the first thing to do is report it to the service company with as much detail as possible: what happened, on which floor, and whether there were any unusual noises or signs beforehand. The more precise the information, the better prepared the technician arrives and the faster the repair. If someone is trapped inside the elevator, that is an emergency requiring immediate rescue, not a fault repair.
How long does a repair take?
Most faults are resolved on the second visit, following a first visit for a thorough diagnosis, especially when the part needed is in stock. More complex faults, ones that require ordering or manufacturing a special part, or intricate work that takes more than one technician, may take longer. We'll always keep you updated on the state of the repair and how long it is expected to take, with no surprises.
And what happens if a part is not in stock?
Then we start a race against the clock to get hold of the part for you as fast as possible. We have working relationships with all the largest manufacturers and suppliers, and our best specialists and our supply chain know how to spring into action the moment it's needed.
