An elevator works around the clock and carries heavy loads every day. Without routine maintenance it wears down, develops faults, and can become a real risk to residents. That is why Israeli law leaves this to no one's discretion.
A building committee that fails to maintain its elevator properly not only endangers residents — it is also exposed to legal liability. We make sure your building meets every requirement, without you having to chase it yourself.
What the law requires
- A safety inspection by a certified inspector on behalf of the Ministry of Labour, at least twice a year.
- Routine maintenance visits by the service company: inspection, lubrication, adjustment of mechanisms and checks that everything is in order.
- Compliance with Israeli Standard SI 2481 and the Elevator Service Supervision Order (1984).
- Correcting every fault noted in the inspector's report, through to full approval.

Which service contract fits you?
Almost every service company offers two plans, basic and comprehensive. We have a third one. We realized our customers needed a plan that removes the risk of a high, unexpected expense entirely: Diamond Cover. Let's go through all three.
Basic Contract
For anyone who values flexibility and savings. It covers all routine maintenance, periodic visits, lubrication and adjustments, safety checks, and handling minor faults that don't require replacing components. Spare parts and the labor to fit them are billed separately as needed, and for every repair the building committee receives a quote for written approval before any work is carried out. The monthly price is lower, in return for the committee taking on the risk that an expensive part will fail.
Comprehensive Contract
The most common plan, and the winning balance between cost and peace of mind. It covers everything in the basic contract, plus most spare parts and wear parts and the labor on them, with no separate billing and no committee approval for every fault. The work happens behind the scenes, so the monthly price is far more fixed and predictable and the committee has significantly less to deal with on our end. The large, expensive parts, which wear out far less often, are not included in this contract.
Diamond Cover
The broadest coverage there is, and a product unique to us that almost no company in Israel offers. Diamond It covers everything included in the comprehensive contract, plus the largest and most expensive components that every standard comprehensive contract excludes: the hoisting machine, controller, control panel, suspension ropes, piston and others. Even if a component costing tens of thousands of shekels needs replacing or repairing, we cover the full cost. On this plan the monthly expense is always fixed, and everything you have to deal with on our end drops to zero.
