Now we come into the picture: what we do, and do brilliantly, is install your elevator properly and fast. We're the ones who know how to make sure your elevator gets its final approval before the deadline.
We install for two kinds of clients: elevator companies that have sold an elevator and need a professional crew to install it, and end customers, for example a building that has gone through TAMA 38 and bought an elevator and is now looking for someone to install it properly. Either way, you get an experienced crew that knows the job.
Installing an elevator in an existing building: what you need to know
Installing a new elevator in an existing building starts with the residents' consent. Under section 59ו of the Land Law, a two-thirds majority of the building's apartment owners is required, subject to two conditions: that a building permit can be obtained for the installation, and that the elevator will not substantially harm other apartments, the common property or the appearance of the building. An owner who believes they have been harmed may also object and apply to the Supervisor of Land Registration.
As for the costs, the apartment owners who decided on the installation are the ones who bear it, apart from the ground-floor residents, who are exempt, and the split is made according to the relative floor area of the apartments. The cost of ongoing maintenance and operation, on the other hand, is shared by all the apartment owners in the building.
All of that part, the decision, the permit and the planning, is led by the elevator company that sold you the elevator or by the project manager. We come into the picture the moment the elevator arrives at the entrance to the building and is waiting to start work.

How much does it cost to install an elevator?
It depends on a lot of factors, of course, and the range is wide and varies. The type of elevator (electric, hydraulic, freight and more), the manufacturer, the height of the building and the complexity of the installation are only some of the factors taken into account when a quote is prepared. Prices run from tens of thousands of shekels to hundreds of thousands.

We'll be candid: the better an elevator is installed and maintained, the fewer breakdowns there are, the fewer rescue call-outs in the middle of the night, and the less headache. So we have every interest in installing it right the first time.
